A very nice hotel with a friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Fairly close to public transportation on Karlsplatz.

Just returned from 4 nights at the Kaiserhof and was delighted with our choice. Staff were most friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel were immaculate. It`s central location meant we could walk to most of the main sights in 20 mins. Sanjay at the bar was as good as any information desk. We would recommend this hotel for location and service.

Everything a hotel should be. Excellent reception staff, friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast served in a beautiful room. Vienna central and museum district nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very close to the market which we thought was great for drinks plus we ate there. Some great sights around every corner. Great transport system & easy to use. It offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and great service It truly made my stay in the city a memorable one.

The hotel itself was fantastic. The amenities are excellent, room very good and breakfasts were. It is also very well situated for transport links and many of Vienna's attractions. But... The original trip was booked for me and my wife (in one room) and our friend in another for four evenings. Unfortunately my wife had to cancel at the last minute due to medical problems. This meant that We had paid for three people on a bed and breakfast basis, but only two of us were there. On the second morning I had breakfast and, as usual provided my room number. Later, after I had gone back to my room, my friend arrived for her breakfast with her daughter (who happens to be studying and living in Vienna). OK a bit of a cheek, maybe we should have asked first, but we had paid for three people to have breakfast and there were only two of us and we did not ask for nor were we offered any refund/reduction. When asked for a room number my room number was given for the daughter. No query was raised and she had breakfast. However, when I arrived for breakfast (the next day) I did get some very funny looks from the waitress and her supervisor. Whilst my German is only very basic I did hear them talking about me (it was obvious as the day before I inadvertently reversed my room number when arriving for breakfast and I heard them refer to that, and query where my "friend" was - my friend's daughter is actually about 1/3 of my age!). At the same time it seemed that I was no longer approached to see if I wanted coffee or tea, but had to go out of my way to ask for it! It also deemed that the two members of staff were walking around the room whilst refusing to make eye contact with me and , at the same time, trying to avoid me. The third morning was very similar, in terms of the waitresses attitude towards me. Fortunately on the fourth morning a different waitress was dealing with me and it seemed I was back to being a normal customer! So, basically, I enjoyed the hotel, its facilities, its central position etc, but I think a couple of the staff need guidance on how to deal with customers and ask for clarification and NOT jump to conclusions! The rest of the staff that I interacted with (cleaners, reception, bar staff and other waiters) were fantastic.
